by Dave Braithwaite

This piece is aimed at raising awareness for the plight of the Pangolin from a poaching point of view as well as the impact on its natural habitat as a result of irresponsible disposal of all forms of electronic waste.

Pangolins are endangered animals. They are hunted for their skins which are used to make leather boots, for their scales which are used in Chinese and African medicines, and for their meat. Their habitats are also being destroyed. They are native to South Africa...

At the same time, mankind is decimating the Pangolin’s natural habitat with the uncontrolled dumping of toxic e-waste. This piece is aimed at raising awareness for the plight of the Pangolin from a poaching point of view as well as the impact on its natural habitat as a result of irresponsible disposal of all forms of electronic waste.
